Appointment & Clinic Policies

Our policies are designed to ensure every client receives the time, care and attention they deserve. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the following before your appointment.

Bookings & Deposits

Appointments will can be made via phone or online via our booking link. To secure your appointment, a deposit is required. Please note that your appointment will only be confirmed once the deposit has been received. Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide a minimum of 48 hours notice. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment may result in a loss of the paid deposit fee. This policy supports clinic operations and ensures appointment availability for all clients.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time to allow your full treatment to be carried out.

Late arrival may reduce the time available for your consultation or treatment. Where there is insufficient time to safely complete your appointment, Lumiere may need to reschedule your booking and the applicable cancellation policy may apply.

No-Shows

Clients who do not attend a scheduled appointment without notice may forfeit their booking deposit and may be required to pay an appointment fee before making future bookings.

Children & Guests

Lumiere Aesthetics Studio maintains a strict no guest policy. Due to clinical safety requirements, treatment room standards, and regulatory compliance, we kindly ask that any children or guests do not accompany you to your appointment unless previously arranged.

Treatment Suitability

All treatments are subject to consultation and individual suitability.

Booking an appointment does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be appropriate or performed. Caitlin may recommend an alternative approach, delay treatment or decline treatment where she believes proceeding would not be appropriate. Patients must be 18 years or older to book medical aesthetic treatments. Medical aesthetic treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Medical Information & Oversight

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, previous treatments and any relevant changes to their health. If you are unwell, have recently received a vaccine, or believe you may be unsuitable for treatment, please contact the clinic as soon as possible before your appointment.

All cosmetic medical treatments at this clinic are carried out under appropriate medical governance and in compliance with Australian regulatory requirements. All registered nurses work in collaboration with qualified medical practitioners or nurse practitioner who provide prescribing, oversight, and clinical support.

Results & Expectations

All services are provided by trained and qualified staff. Lumiere makes reasonable efforts to ensure services meet your expectations but individual responses to aesthetic treatments vary and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Expected outcomes, limitations, risks and appropriate aftercare will be discussed as part of your consultation and treatment planning.

Before & After Photography

Clinical photographs may be taken as part of your medical record and to support treatment assessment, planning, and monitoring. Photographs will only be taken with your informed consent and stored securely in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements. Images will be used only for your care unless separate, explicit consent is provided for teaching, research, or marketing purposes. You may withdraw consent for non-clinical use at any time. Refusing photography will not affect your care, although it may limit our ability to assess or monitor treatment accurately.

Payments

Payment for treatment is required at the time the treatment is provided. Lumiere accepts Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard & Afterpay for all in clinic payments. Credit card will be require for all online booking deposits.

The full cost of treatment and any applicable fees will be explained to you in advance. Financial consent will be obtained before any treatment goes ahead. By proceeding with treatment, you confirm that you understand and agree to the costs involved.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Personal and health information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and Lumiere's Privacy Policy.

This process will explain how and when to contact Lumiere, the expected response time, and what information or photographs may be required to assess your concern.
